In making friends, carry a bit of heroic spirit; in living life, keep a little pure heart.
When you make friends, don’t just be polite- be someone who’s loyal, brave, and will stand up for them when they need help. In daily life, try to keep a heart. Don’t become fake or selfish.
Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished.
Trying to control everything too forcefully or too quickly doesn’t work. Instead, letting things unfold naturally – like nature does- brings better results.
There is no Bodhi tree, nor stand of a mirror bright.
Since all is void, where can the dust alight.
True enlightenment isn’t about cleaning or fixing your mind like it’s dirty- it’s realizing that your mind is already pure, already empty of fixed form. It’s the idea of sudden awakening – realizing your true nature instantly, not through long effort.
